PRODUCER

As a producer I have worked on a variety of different genres

from classical, hip-hop, folk, kids music, theatrical, etc..

“Edward was the best choice I could have made to record my albums for children! Edward has ideas and offers them but has no ego involved. He knows his music, too. I don’t read music, so I’ll explain what I want in my clumsy way, and he’ll translate that into a thing of beauty. Sometimes I don’t even need to say anything. I’ll write a song, do a garage band recording of it, mention if I want it guitar-driven (I play guitar,) and send it to him. Usually, the next day, I get a track with his ideas in it. We go back and forth on ideas, then I go in and do a voice track, sometimes add some guitar. He takes it from there, bringing great musicians in and making magic. I give notes, he executes them, we add background voices, and he does the mixing. I honestly couldn’t ask for more. Whatever “sound” my records might have are an equal combination of him and me. I don’t know what I’d do without him! He’s cheerful, fun, often funny. Very smart and responsible. Music is Edward’s passion, so he’s doing exactly what he was born to do and what he wants to do, so there’s never any drama, and I depend on him.” - Tracy Newman

Emmy Award Winner TV writer/producer, Singer/songwriter/ Children’s recording artist. Tracy Newman has recorded 3 albums for kids at L.A. Music Lab, produced by Edward Auslender. Currently we are mixing a 4th album and have started production on a 5th.

“Edward brought Miss Isabelle to life with his delightful musical and vocal arrangement. Andrea Ross-Green  completed the song with her backup vocals.”

Miss Isabelle is a song written and sung by Adele Beeman. Adele who has been singing professionally since she was 15 was honored to be a regular singer at the Hollywood improv during the 70's comedy boom. Sharing the stage with Jay, Dave, Robin and the Richard Pryor.   After taking over a decade break from singing and writing, she is grateful and elated to write and record  Her original song Miss Isabelle.

“I came to Edward with an idea for a song and we seamlessly orchestrated the entire thing together in a matter of 3 hours. The whole session flowed in a way I have never experienced and I’m grateful for the time, effort, and patience he put in. Very honest 5* review! Thank you!”
